Meet Rachid Boustila - Regional Advisor

Rachid’s basketball background with coaching, recruiting and networking spans over three decades. Since the late ‘90s, he has focused almost exclusively on women’s basketball, both nationally and internationally. The student athletes he mentored successfully moved on to play at collegiate levels, ranging from the 2-year programs to the Power Five Conferences, as well as the professional level.

Currently, Rachid is an assistant women’s basketball coach with Benedictine University at Mesa. While at Benedictine, he has been involved with recruiting high school, junior college, NCAA, NAIA and international student athletes. Their last 5 recruiting classes has seen several All-American and 3 Conference Player of the Year Awards, along with a Conference Championship title. Additionally, he is the Director of Operations of Arizona Premier Basketball, a youth program focused on providing opportunities for young female athletes through basketball development.

Rachid played collegiality in Arizona at Yavapai College and professionally in his native France. He and his wife moved back to Arizona in the late ‘90s where they raised their three daughters. Advocating for young female athletes and women has always been a focus for him. He believes in servant leadership, and values honesty and integrity.
